Dental Emergency Services
Dental Emergency Access During the Working Week
Patients who have a dental emergency during the working week and do not
have a regular dentist should telephone the Patient Advice and Liaison
(PALS) Office on 0800 389 681.
The PCT has daily emergency slots in dental practices in Ipswich and
Bury St Edmunds which are available on a first come first serve basis so
patients should ring the PALS office as soon after 9.00am as possible.
Dental Emergency Access at Weekends
Patients requiring emergency dental treatment at the weekend should
telephone Suffolk Doctors on Call on 01473 299685. The service operates
on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. All patients are triaged
according to clinical need and referred where appropriate to the
emergency dental sessions which operate in Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds.
